The International Space Station is the largest vehicle ever assembled in space, and represents one of the most amazing achievements in the history of the human species. This series of five videos provides an introduction to this incredible feat of engineering. It starts with some basic facts about the Station’s orbit, attitude and fleet of resupply vehicles. It then reviews its major external elements and finally all of the modules that make up its “stack”.
The videos were recorded as part of the Space Challenges programme. More educational material about space, its exploration and the applications of space technology is available on the YouTube Channel or on the SpacePort.
